Tony G
After driving around yesterday I found a few pigeon on an old bean stubble There was a good flight line in so quick hide up and deeks out with a flapper Only had 3 hours but picked 27 Rang a couple of mates last nite and we decided to meet back at the beans for 10 I set up by a spinney with Paul and my two other mates went up the other end of the field Things started a bit slow but by 12 there were plenty of birds on the move At half 12 the wirly battery died, forgot to charge it ! So we were down to 24 shells and a flapper The boys at the other end were getting plenty of shooting but our end was nice and steady We all had to call it a day at 6 so after a count up back at the car we had 174 pigeons and a couple of crows picked with maybe a dozen or so lost Great day after what has been a tough harvest this year

stuy
Great result and well done , beans can be a big draw waiting for some birds to turn up in numbers on stubbles here in hereford.
Tony G
The field had been lightly disced due I think to the ground being so hard But the amount of loose beans on top was unbelievable
JDog
A fine day. Discing never actually buries any beans, cultivating may bury a few more, but I am never put off a field once I have seen either activity as the beans will be there and the pigeons too.
