BrowningDJC
Got a few guns in the cabinet that don't really get used so thinking of having a clear out and buying something to use on a new walk/stand small shoot I have just joined, something lighter than my 30 inch Browning sporter to carry around, and I have to admit I enjoy having a few different guns to chose from in the cabinet. Ive narrowed it down to a Browning 725 uk grip 20 bore 30 inch, which handled really well. Or, possibly a nice cased English side by side in 16 bore, something a little different and full of history. Two completely different guns I know, and fancy something other than a 12 bore just to be different. Are there many people on here you regularly swap between an over and under and side by side? Its the only thing that's really swaying me to stick with the over and under.
Westley
An O/U for clays, a S x S for game and a semi auto for pigeons. All in 12 bore and shoot them all reasonably well. I do not have any problems switching from single trigger or auto safe. My clay gun always has the safety OFF, even in the cabinet and the S x S is auto safe. The S x S has not been out since last January, but will be used in early October. Edited September 25, 2014 by Westley
DaveT
Could get a cheaper sxs to use this season and see if you like it?
welshwarrior
A nice English 20 bore if you want to push the boat out and get something really interesting 16 bore cartridges aren't always easy to get.
BrowningDJC
I would go for a 16 if I was to buy an English gun, got a couple I'd shops near me that can always get the cartridges.
