littlerob
After going about trying out every semi auto in local shops and people's advice to try the sx3 it was to long in length of pull but did like the slim feel after trying to find autos that fit went to u/o and same again fit issus but guy in shop said try the baikal thats small and it's a pefect match and its steel proof so ticket what I was looking for so I have bought it pick it up next week so that means I may have my urika up for sale soon at a cheap price

figgy
What baikal did you buy. The MP153 semi auto or a double barrel gun? Figgy
littlerob
A double barrel u/o as the mp153 was gone the sx3 was to long on the lop but like the slim feel of it but might buy the sxp as that was a close fit like I said model or make was not the main choice was more down to fit and steel proof I know if it has a wood stock that with work any gun can be med to fit better but I didn't want to go down that route extra money and hassle I didn't want and I had a budget of 650max plus the urika so next thing is sell the urika and may buy the sxp as it was a colse fit but have no real interest in pumps might be a whimper buy but thats after I make room in the cabinet

littlerob
I would have got the sx3 if it was close to fitying but just about could get the tip of my finger on the trigger just felt like I was over reaching to hold it but the slim fit was nice only if it fitted I eould have came home with one
HDAV
You bought a new baikal OU? and had a budget of £650 + a Urika (3-500)? so total budget of up to £1k+? Hope you shoot well with it.
littlerob
Yes I dind bought cause it was cheap I bought it as it fitted was looking at Lincoln beretta beneili Winchester loads of other makes between the 600 to a £1k evrything of shelf was to long in the leghnt of pull neary all the semi where plastic stocks and then the O/U where to long to but was told in shops it can be sorted we can cut a bit off but most of the guns where 30 32 inch barrels cutting stock off to to fit me leaving long barrels thought came into my head of unbalanced front heavy gun so I opted opted out of that idea and the baikal fitted nice thays why I have bought it the only other off the shelf guns that fitted nice was youth model 20G and I wantws a 12 steel proof the next closest fit was the SXP might buy one to the thought of a pump has not cross my mind befor so my px the urika for one
spot.ontheroad
You bought for the right reason. Gun fit is tops when it comes to which to buy. You'll never wear out the barrels of a Baikal Enjoy
