dazza
I was told today that in the near future I will need to replace the copper piping that carries the oil from the oil tank to the burner. I was told this is because some of the copper piping is tracked underneath a concrete path running up the garden and eventually the concrete will rot the copper piping. Any advice? plinker
cement will eat into copper piping but oil pipe is shrouded ie it coated in blue plastic and should give you no problems, if it is not then it will need replacing plinker

Lord Geordie
I beleive it is more the Lime in the cement reacting with the piping. May serve you well to have a plastic pipe running under your new path with the copper pipe safe inside that to save you from future trouble LG
magman
should of been laid in sand in the first place wrapped with denzo tape . if repacing it again put it through some 40 mm plastic pipe last a lifetime
