if you are absolutely desperate, i can send you a CYL /CYL set of ( 2 ) extended mendel / mandal? (sp?) chokes for free....

 

they are not great but they are better than hopes and dreams.

Liz i have a couple of spares, your welcome too there is a Teague extended 1/2 and teagues extended ported1/4 and 3/8

You know, much as the collector in me would like to say yes please I've never used a Cyl choke. What do people use them for? I think I might be better using my quarters for skeet.

Just managed to catch up with this. I have to say, it is at moments like this that it becomes very apparent that there are some really awsome People on this Forum. cyl are a classic no-choke, often used on skeet and shooting buckshot.-(sg-lg ~4-"00" buckshot)

but it depends on the shells, i`ve shot clays 50 yards out with these and using 21g loads of #7.5 but the kills were really " chippy ".

 

i only ever use them when teaching new people, now i just use full / full.

I've just had a geometry lecture from the lady who teaches me skeet pointing out that cyl and cyl are actually what I need. There was a lot of geometry in there, but she also pointed out that what she'd given me before was a cylinder. So yes please to the cylinders! I'll DM.
