Scully
I very much doubt if a few people decide to call in then it will become law. Neither do I, and I'm not even aware of it being an issue to the extent that chief officers are pushing for it to be law.
theredfox
Phoned 101 for there advice, they said yes phone them and give them where and when also my shotgun cert No or my firearm cert No, if a compilaint was made and it was in the district where I was shooting all they would need to is to check there records and should know my cert Nunmbers it seems to me there are wanting a bit too much information as they have all the need is at a touch at a button. Dekers
This topic turns up on a fairly regular basis and there is always lots of bravado, I can pretty much guarantee anyone faced with police with loaded guns pointing at them would not be so brave. I do this for a living and have a lot of dealings with all sorts of clients, many are office, shop, school, council, manufacturing etc., etc., based where Joe public is a constant pain, advising the police in these situations is good practice for me and keeps me on good terms with the police. Do I always call the police on the farms, golf courses, stables, country estates, etc., etc., of course not!
