00jacksonp
Hi guys after a fun and entertaining night on a flooded field with duck and geese I dropped a couple of each. The field was deeper then I had expected and luckily I had an inch left on my wellies. After this i feel waders are needed to cover all eventualities. It is rare that it floods this much so I would only use then one or twice a year so a cheap pair will do . Do I get neoprene ones? Any ideas appreciated / if any of you are flogging an old pair give me a shout

figgy
Go-outdoors do some Ron Thompson thigh or chest waders at sill cheap prices.£24.99 for chest waders and about a fiver cheaper for thigh. Might aswell go the whol hogg and get chest waders if you have anywhere you will use them, great for sitting in mud. Figgy

Tough and hard wearing and cheap as chips. But if you are standing in water for a long time get neoprene - there is no insulation in the Ronnie s and it can be very cold. Picture brass monkeys crying their eyes out.
hifly
Brand called Stillwater neoprean lined thigh waders from glasgow angling about £40.00 very good waders and nice and warm best waders I have used for wildfowling and I have had many pairs over 38 years of creek hopping. Charlie R
I can recommend Ron Thompson nylon chest waders. I do not recommend any waders supplied lidll as despite costing a tenner they were shocking.
