al4x
It won't as you won't be near having a full case. Best bet is to just use the same brand in the same batch of reloads
Dougy
It won't as you won't be near having a full case. Best bet is to just use the same brand in the same batch of reloads +1 You have over 100 of each make/ brand, so not the issues probably first thought, I had visions of an assortment of 1/2 a dozen of just about every different make of case ever made. But just the 2,,,,, I use different brands for different scenarios. Both separate rifles Lapua for mostly day time or shooting from pickup, where long rage accuracy is important and at nearly £1 a pop I don't like tl loose any, and other I use remington, nosler or norma whilst lamping on foot with NV and jotmtoo fussed if they're lost as there about the end of there safe working life and because accuracy at 150yds is good enough for Mr Fox. nicholiath
I'll measure them anyhow, not too sure how this will help but... With my 58gn vmax load using ramshot hunter i couldnt get max load of powder in geco brass whereas i could in the hornady case.
malkiserow
I am concerned about the water method. Arn't we only talking about wall thickness? and this is not likely to be massive, so the water method will mean that fill point and surface tension etc will have a significant effect? mick miller
I think I'm going to try the suck it and see approach on paper with the new cases. As my load is already at the low end of the scale I can only imagine that I may need to tweak it up a little when changing brass.
