Wildfowler325
Post on behalf of a friend, A friend of mine is asking about his son's shotgun certificate. He has been visited by the FAO and he has granted him his licence. Last week they contacted the firearms department which told him his licence has been porcessed but is awaiting postage. His question is can his son (who is 17 i think) go out shooting alone before his licence arrives in the post? I though you had to wait untill it arrives before going shooting alone, but i could be wrong. Many thanks WF
BigEd85
Not until he has the certificate in his hand, the fact it has been granted is irrelevent. ATB Ed
wymberley
Apart from the distinct probability that he will be told to check for errors on receipt which if there any are could well render it invalid, the first thing he must do do validate it is to sign it. Yup. SGC is not valid until signed.
