Tony G
After being back and forth to the marsh chasing the geese this week, today was to be my last chance for a few weeks I've recently started chatting to Fenboy off here and we met up in the car park this morning with a few others Off we went along the sea wall and as the others dropped off,Fenboy and myself decided to go on a bit further As it got light the amount of duck moving about but always just too far away was unbelievable A few Brent were on the move as the tide was now around our ankles Suddenly a bunch of 8 eight geese came from my right, passing Fenboy before reaching me More Brent I thought, but then a little murmur from them and I realised they weren't Brent at all Grabbing the gun I dropped one straight away and swung onto another only to find I had knocked the safety back on AGAIN ! I really thought they were Greys so was over the moon when Bracken was back with a Pink ! I've not shot a foreshore Pink for over 20 years when I used to go with my dad Great end to a tiring week ! Tony G
Thanks everybody I would say though that the way the geese have been behaving this week the result was definitely more luck than judgement
