Vulcha
What would be the best silencer to put on my hornet? I've heard logun are pretty good, but I don't know what would fit. I belive its a 1/2" unf thread, so I guess any silencer which would fit a 1/2" unf thread?

flash
ive just got a ukneil silencer, and its a beauty, quieter then the normal air arms one, and shorter. only cost 35 with adaptor, which u wont need, as it screws onto a 1/2 unf thread. have a chat with him. if not, get a weirauch one, also quieter then most. cheers flash
SNAKEBITE
This subject was gone into in great depth a while back. It was a toss up between a Weirauch and a Logun. however a search will reveal the reasoning behind this choice.

It was a toss up between a Weirauch and a Logun. however a search will reveal the reasoning behind this choice. I tried searching first, but in the end there was about 25 pages to look through, so I thought i'd make a new topic. I think Ima try again now, as I have alot of spare time. Cyber
ive got a weirauch and its spot on. like someone mentioned, all I can hear is the action and the pellet hitting the target!
Axe
I would personally go with a Logun, they have always been spot on for me.
Vulcha
I got a logun CCFC supa silencer and its well quite. Only thing is, the end fell off after five shots and it looks like it was glued in place. What the hell if up with that? I mean, logun are a good company with a reputation for making good things, so I reckon somethings up with it, unless I did something wrong, which I doubt. Axe
Has anyone tried a Sak on an airgun yet?
SNAKEBITE
I'm not too sure it would be worth it AXE, wouldn't it be a little overkill? I can't think of a reason why it couldn't be done but with so many options available would someone want to do it? Good idea though.
Axe
Why would it be overkill? Sak are cheaper than a Logun, more robust and just as light in weight and I think slightly shorter as well. Many advantages especially if just as efficient.
Vulcha
So any ideas about my silencer guys?
SNAKEBITE
Have you read the above replies?
Vulcha
I don't even know what a Sak is, so its not been too helpful lol.
Cyber
A SAK is a make of silencer normally used on rimmies and other bullet guns.
SNAKEBITE
I don't even know what a Sak is, so its not been too helpful lol. But you know what Logun, Weirauch and Air Arms are! Those were the ones that were reccomended. In Descending order they are..................... 1. Weirauch 2. Logun 3. Air Arms.
Vulcha
Yup, I do know what they are, and I chose the logun, but it messed up. I dunno if they're supposed to be glued or not. The end of mine popped off and it was glued in place, so I dunno if it was one that was sent back to the shop which they tried to fix or not. Axe
The end cap should be screw fitted. So I should be taking it back to where you bought it.
SNAKEBITE
The end cap should be screw fitted. So I should be taking it back to where you bought it. Not if it has been bonded, a common joining tecnique used on thin wall section tube.
Vulcha
I emailed airshooter the day I got it and still haven't had a reply from them. I've tried ringing them a couple of times but had no answer. What the hell do I do now?

Vulcha
I tried that and nothing productive really happened. Has anybody else dealt with airshooter before?
