new shot
Hi, I am about to purchase a new Yukon Photon XT and I don't have a lot of experience with night vision and how they work etc. My question is at my yard there are security cameras which at night will produce a infra-red and I will be wanting to shoot the rats etc with my Yukon., Would the infra red from the security cameras affect my Yukon photon infra red etc?? Hope that don't sound like a stupid question?? Cheers..
foxy bingo
if the lights are infrared it may make things better
The Mighty Prawn
if the lights are infrared it may make things better +1 it will be lit up like daylight! I've told this story before on here but when I got my first NV i went to the local park at night to test, fired it up without the illuminator on and saw the sweep of an illuminator from the other side of the park so someone else was checking their NV too - or being a peeping Tom! spandit
Are these reasonably useable as a day scope? I know it's a digital image but don't want to keep swapping scopes around (or buying dedicated NV rifle... yet)?

I know it's a digital image but don't want to keep swapping scopes around (or buying dedicated NV rifle... yet)? Think back to when you had your first BSA meteor air rifle and came with a BSA 4x15 scope, its like that but a bit worse.
spandit
Perhaps I should fit Weaver rails to my rifles then to make swapping scopes a bit quicker? Anyone in East Sussex with a Yukon so I can have a look see?
