Dan.
You will find loads on comparison sites tbh mate but flux do a convicted driver cover anyway. What car is it your insuring?
digger
Was picking up a mondeo but insurance quotes were ludicrous over £1100. changed to a focus and it dropped to £940. then Billy came up trumps - Adrian Flux - £ 500 ! absolute result. Pigeon watch has saved me £440.

The IN10 conviction code you will have is the worst one out of any conviction, someone who has been done for drink driving and killed someone whilst doing so will take less of hit on insurance then someone with an IN10 :S I think it's rediculous especially when it can be cause by the smallest of mistakes by any party involved!!! norfolk dumpling
No insurance became a no no many years ago partly down to the numbers avoiding paying (up to25% in some parts of uk) but also because fines were pitiful - £100 fine for avoiding £5-600 insurance. Insurers ganged up on the public and upped the loadings. Don't forget an uninsured TP often meant the insurer picked up unnecessary claims as well as the overall pot got diluted. My old company also found a correllation between no insurance and other situations leading to higher claims costs so there was statistical justification for loadings. Now I suspect as the opportunity to avoid insuring are far fewer the loadings may be higher.
