Daz Harrison
Whats your thoughts on this ? also does it matter if a sound mod is made for a 22 or a 177 ?Daz
robbiep
A 177 specific mod will be too tight for a 22 pellet to fit through, so will make a huge difference. Apart from that, a mod can still make a considerable difference to any gun. My 22 LR shoots lower with a mod on (as expected), but also shoots about 2" to the right with the mod on, even though I know for cetrain that bullets are not clipping the mod
Daz Harrison
you think a 22 mod would be ok for a 177 then ?, im only asking because yesterday i was plinking and when i put the mod on my pellets starting going all over the targets where as before they was pellet on pellet, im going to try again today as i didnt screw the mod on tight which im starting to think might of been the problem, cheers Daz
bruno22rf
What gun are you using?
Underdog
Must be tight for starters. Stick some black or masking tape over the end of the mod and shoot through it, then you can see how much run out there is. U.
