ordnance
No, we set traps for them to fall into and then we neutralise them as humanely as possible so that they are no longer a threat to those that they prey upon! That is the only effective solution if you wish to control if not eradicate the problem and afford some protection to their potential victims. How do you do that. Forget the hang them and similar that's not going to happen. So has anyone any ideas that could protect children, rather than the posting the usual predictable hang them etc.
Peskyfoxs
I work in forensics and deal with paedophile cases all the time, I have just done the experiment below at 9.50am this morning. The problem is rife, as an example a colleague and I have just logged in to a teen chat site with names ending in 13... within 1 minute I had 6 private windows open all from people saying they were older men asking to chat, when I pointed out I was 13 they nearly all said fine and do you like / will you talk to older men. I asked nothing provocative and soon I was being asked if I was horny, if I had pics and what I was wearing. Food for thought if you have kids and they go online. We both had different people asking this, so that’s 11 people who either are or are pretending to be older men with an interest in girls of 13 Simple kill them all is not going to fix this problem, firstly no government is going to bring back the death sentence anytime soon, if they did who do you kill ? everyone with an indecent picture on their computer? We are going to need some serious execution equipment to get through that many people. I honestly don't know what the answer is, some of the sentences handed down are a joke so firstly maybe a longer time behind bars might act as a deterrent but I doubt it, maybe specific managed hostels for them where they are monitored constantly might work, they have them in the states and it seems to reduce re-offending. Chemical castration ? I don't know what will work but everyone shouting hang them is not a fix

What a prospect for the nation’s and the children of the world in general! The real problem, like FGM is that there is no political will to stop it! kyska
How do you do that. Forget the hang them and similar that's not going to happen. So has anyone any ideas that could protect children, rather than the posting the usual predictable hang them etc. You're posing a question that you have no answer to either. It's obvious that these people have a sexual preferences for young children, boys, girls and even babies. As has been stated, we can't change someone's sexuality, this is the same, only that it's legal to have homosexual intercourse, what really pushes my buttons is the idea that someone purely looking at images (which I'm positive 'Eddie' must have done) feels they've done no wrong, the depravity of sponsoring this abnormality is shocking and unacceptable. I'm a placid, humanitarian type, I work in health care, but even so, we must be able to protect children from this plight, regardless of the offenders sorrow for what they are or their remorse, as they are the offender, not the child. Regardless of how we perceive the grooming process, this is still sexual activities forced onto s person that doesn't consent. I have no answers either, but I make a guess that it's a minuscule amount of offenders, or potential offenders have the capacity to empathise with their actions, the libido is incredibly strong, overwhelming, all consuming as we all know.
