Afternoon guys

My son has bought a focus y reg it's his first car only past last week , when he tris the remote to lock it it locks then opens with in two seconds,

Is there a sensor I can check thought about pulling the fuse and just locking it by the key any suggestion is welcomed as you can imagine he is gutted bless him

Try putting the key in manually to unlock and see if it still does it, if it does its usually a key problem

As Dan says, if your son has another key with his car, try that in the lock, if the problem persists it's with the central locking or maybe one of the door locks.

If it's reopening it probably just a door switch. As the car thinks a door, boot or bonnet open. My money on the bonnet pin cable come off. But check them all.

From my experience these have a high failure rate of the cdl module which is located behind the drivers side dash also the wires going in to the door wear away and short out so worth checking them as well.
