Out of 9 Red setters my Dad had, only two slobbered and Logan who lives with me now is the second of the two. Trouble is he is at a good height for dropping his head in your lap. The mop is also in constant use around the water drinker as he trails the last mouthful of water across the kitchen floor along with more slobber. He also shakes his head for even distribution for everyone. Fortunatley OH's Springer loves to wash his mouth so it is kept down a bit. I love him really. Mrs Sweepy
Not only do I take poo bags when we go for a walk now I also take tissues and wet ones just in case I have to mop down an unexpected Rambler who just happen to have gotten into the range of fire ! Its his cuteness that saves him ;0) XxxxSuzy
loriusgarrulus
I find a flannel kept in my walking coat pocket and at strategic points around the house is very handy for mopping Logan around the mouth as needed. I bought a load of purple ones specially for him from Asda, £1 per pack of 2. Everyone is so enthralled with his colour Logan gets away with slobbering them, although they do get offered the use of his flannel.
