Gordon R
Hats off to Andy Lee - the first traveller to win a world boxing title. He stopped the previously unbeaten Russian Matt Korobov last night. Top result for one of boxing's nice guys. There was a debate as to whether Billy Joe Saunders or Tyson Fury would be the first traveller to get a world belt, but he beat the pair of them to it. sako751sg
Great result and stopping him was very unexpected.Props must go to Adam Booth too,he seems to have upped his game although he must have had something before late great Manny Steward signed him up for the Kronk. Not a Khan fan,but credit to him for last nights gig too.Comprehensively schooled Alexander and seemed way more disciplined.Still think he has a glass chin though. Keep a watch oot for Oleksandr Usyk on the cruiser scene.Rik Mayall lookalike but think he will be a future great, possibly even at HW. Gordon R
sako - I was unaware of Usyk - just Googled him. He does look a ringer for Rik Mayall, but his record is impressive. Khan did well, but anyone who hits him hard will deck him.
evo
great news for Andy ,,well deserved and has worked hard through his career , best performance of khan,s career so far, totally outboxed Alexander, will mayweather fight him atb Evo
sako751sg
Outstanding amateur and although hes only 6 fights as a pro,he looks the complete package.Venter is no mug but he stopped him in 9 last night after winning pretty much every round.Pretty sure he will be a world champ in a year or two. Agree with Khan, will always be on giraffe legs when he gets tagged. Edited December 14, 2014 by sako751sg
Gordon R
evo - I suspect Khan won't get the Mayweather fight, but does he deserve it? Mayweather is saying he will be fighting Manny in the spring, which will leave Khan in the same boat again. Kell Brook is a world champion - Khan isn't. Khan seems to be making demands about a potential fight with Brook, which he is no position to do. He has made insulting comments about Brook - saying rubbish like "Team Khan" will dictate the venue, purses etc. It's a shame Team Khan can't help with his chin. evo
totally agree Gordon, I think mayweathers last fight will be against many then he will walk away, looking forward to it if it happens, regards khan vs Brook now that is an interesting one,,i personally think khan to take it on points , Kelly tends to be one dimensional sometimes but I think fighting khan he will raise his game atb Evo
Gordon R
I think Kell Brook would knock Khan out and finish his career. Bit like Prince Naseem Hamed - career over at an early age, but always had his driving skills to fall back on. Neither can take a punch or drive.

Last night beat Gassiev to become the undisputed CW Champ holding 4 belts after winning a near shut out away from home in Russia, which in itself is some feat. Threw over 930 punches which is astounding for Cruiser and put on a pure masterclass. Think a move to HW will happen very shortly and he will win a belt. Must be in for a shout for the worlds Pound For Pound number 1.

Good honest fighter in the twilight of his career and hopefully gets a good payday or 2 with this win.
