take em Posted December 29, 2014 Report Share Posted December 29, 2014 Just a quick question,I have a pond with a pair of wood duck and a pair of pintail I just wanted to know if anyone knows if they'll cross breed of just stick to there own.im hoping they don't cross breed.the pond is 8metre by 4metre with a 2metre of grass all they way round it. anser2 Posted December 30, 2014 Report Share Posted December 30, 2014 Almost all ducks can cross breed with the exception of mandarins that have a different chromosome count , but as long as you keep them a pairs I doubt if you will have any trouble.
