deadeye ive
Sorry I did'nt take any pictures as it decided to hale it down . Anyway First impressions are positive and I'm starting to come around on this reticle (Older varmint type,ie a series of horizontal lines )which can be as fine or has broad as you want it depending on magnification .Most AO scopes I've had in the past (£150-£200 mark )whereby you adjust the parallex seem to be a gimmic or my eye's can focus a clear image at 100yds even though the parallex is set at 300yds and I can't really tell much change in the sharpness :( ..........This is instant and precise and obvious but seems to want to be set at 50yds when I 'm shooting at 100 yds for some reason ...........I must confess that this is a learning curve for me because every thing is precise and sensitive which is to be expected from a scope of this quality . In daylight the image is crystal clear .....are,nt all scopeslol and at lower end mag there is a generous amount of eye relief, however zoom up to 20X and this relief soons go's and you find yourself up close and personel to the eye bell with a broadened reticle . I was shooting at 16X which after the 8X fixed mag of the Smidt was a welcome difference and I managed a nice 4 shot .5" group with the usual one shot not wanting to play ball .......the first 3 were touching as well but for some reason the the last 2 of a 5 shot mag go where they want and for the midlands gang these were witnessed by Nick ,Trev's son through my 40 X spotting scope ,After I cleaned the barrel as well .......The average for the day was 1" and consisdering the conditions I 'm more than happy It'll be tested under lamp condidtions soon and I'm quite optimistic Any here is a pic of the scope

deadeye ive
Not had chance to try it under lamp conditions as of yet but at the ranges I generally shoot it should be OK and I'm looking forward to comparing it to the S/B . Got it off the administrator from Airgun BBS
