mr smith
Can anybody help to identify these wads,i got some a while back off another forum advertised as for using with Lee slug.I have used these for a while and they work just fine,i also have other wads claybuster copies of winchester ones which are also recommended for slug. I recently bought a mossberg slugster which is stamped has having a .732 bore and the wads other than the unidentified ones are let's say a little loose in the barrel. Andy H
That is the wad that was used for the Acetrace or Trutrace 12 bore tracer cartridge , It will have a small hole in it from the powder cup upto the shotcup , Ian charlton (Original owner of Clay and Game), bought all of their surplus wads when they stopped manufacture due to the owner getting badly burnt mixing the pyrotechnic tracer compound. mr smith
Yeah there is a small hole up through the stem, looks like the chances of getting more seems unlikely. Ta.

I agree, they were for tracer shells. I was given some of these along with the brass trace pellet to look into ways of loading.... ...it appears that the Home Office was not 'happy' with a single projectile in the wad.
