scarter
Hi guys thinking of getting a night vision that is transferable onto the back of different scopes , I've got 2 rimfires and a 22/250. I want something I can use for rabbits and that I can take a fox with on my centre Fire up to 150 yards. What can I get if anything, new or s/h for up to £500 Thanks Simon
evo
for that price(off the shelf) a second hand ns200 and add a decent T20 ir to give you the extra ir at distance but you wont need it for under 100yrds on the rabbits, otherwise build one yourself and enjoy
steve_b_wales
A Cobra Merlin monocular with DSA is an excellent bit of kit. Like all add ons, it works best with PA scopes. Using extra IR, allows you to see up to '200+ yards. I used one once with a Blaserlite 2 million cp lamp with dedicated IR filter. Using a T20 IR torch should be ample. oowee
I have just made my own for £30 for air rifle its good for 50m limited by the IR lamp. It was great fun putting it together. Now i just need somewhere to try it out. Think i will start on the pigeons in the barns for a shake down before trying some rabbits. I looked at the Yukon which looked pretty good but decided on the DIY route based on the amount of use i wont get out of it. The IR light is crucial and you can pay an awful lot for a branded product or get the same thing for a lot less direct from HK where most of it is made in any case.
