powler
The wife has just started shooting using a HW100 and got her second squirrel on the weekend, 35yds free standing, a nice shot. I bought the gun for farmyard work but she seems to have adopted it.

powler
I think you could be right there Lurchers, alwell the shooting show is next month, see if any goodies to be had there. Yes Underdog she was showing me up on the targets before we went out, mind there was to many clouds in the sky for accurate shooting when it was my go. photon
Nice gun and well done to your wife. Years ago we visited our friends who live in Canada, One of the days out we went to a theme park where we eventualy ended up at the side show stalls namely a shooting gallery, My mate ex army marksman, me shot since i was a kid had a go didn't hit a thing, my mate for a laugh said to my my wife to have a go, so coat on, bag hanging off her shoulder, first shot hit, second shot hit 3rd, fourth, you get the idea, With the sound of my mate laughing so loud and the stall holder getting the hump and him saying to my wife no more goes after this one. She walked away with 4 decent prizes. Priceless.

powler
Asked her about squirrel stew, first answer was yuk, but then came well it can't be that different to rabbit. Her cooking is very good(yes she does access to this computer so could read this post) so she may try it. For my own personal H+S I cant say to much more on the cooking front.
