Psyxologos
I am looking for a decent gun bag. Ideally it will be used for my scoped rifles and shotguns. It therefore needs to be wide enough for scopped rifles and long enough for my semi auto (51''/ 130cm upwards). It also needs to be padded, . Any suggestions please? Many thanks! bang bang birdy
Top gun slips for the semi autos are quite good and reasonably prices, you will need a rifle slip to fit your rifle and scope in. So buy two slips
Guest Mick.j
Basic or waterproof? Also you will really need two slips as they are a totally different shape for a shotgun and a rifle with scope. A shotgun in a rifle slip will move around a lot Napier are worth a look

derfley
Top gun slips for the semi autos are quite good and reasonably prices, you will need a rifle slip to fit your rifle and scope in. So buy two slips +1 I have a 54" top gun pro sport slip for my maxus it was around £35 off the bay. You will be better off buying a dedicated rifle slip, they are not that expensive and will provide better protection for a scoped rifle than a shotgun slip will. At the end of the day we pay a lot of money for the guns we buy and £50-100 for a decent rifle slip is a small price to pay to protect that investment. rjimmer
Most gun slips have zips that soon give out. I use an Arktis Drag Bag nowadays.
fortune
Just go to the gunshop and see what is available. Only you know how deep your pocket is and what you like.
