Charlie_79 Posted February 11, 2015 Report Share Posted February 11, 2015 Hi everyone I'm suppose to be shooting over rape tomorrow morning and as I was sorting my gear out this morning I realised I have miss placed the rods that go in the wings of my hypa flapper,does anyone know any high street shops I can buy some temporary carbon fibre or fibreglass rods from ? lakeside1000 Posted February 11, 2015 Report Share Posted February 11, 2015 Model shops, ask for carbon reinforcing rods for foam wing aircraft, come in 1 metre lengths and various thickness 2,3 and 4 mm, Ive been using them on my rc model aircraft for years, just wrap a small piece of gaffer tape over the cut ends to stop any risk of pushing through the hypaflap wing pockets.
