Yorkshireandy
Does anyone have a contact for any committee members at Humber wildfowlers? I tried using the email contacts they have posted on the website but when I sent the emails they bounced back as undelivered. Wondered if anyone on here was a member or had any contact details. farmerkev09
With the Humber do you have to be mentored on your first few outings not that it's a problem with my shooting manner it's just would love to join but I can only commit to a morning shooting at the very last minute and i don't want to mess any of the committee around
scolopax
Several wildfowling clubs on the Humber, maybe ten or more. I do not think formal mentoring is a requirement with most.
D0DGY
Sorry to hijack Andy's thread, but it looks to be turning into the 'new to Humber wildfowling FAQ'. I live up in Leeds, is there any advice on the nearest / best club to contact? (Nearest bit of water to me as the crow flies would be the Goole side)
scolopax
Two clubs on the North bank, both share the same shooting. Hull and East Riding WA and Holderness and Humber WA. Hull and East Riding has its own website with contact details. The south bank has umpteen clubs, but some are quite small, most but not all of which share the same shooting. Some of them also shoot a long way inland on tidal rivers which are considered to be still 'foreshore' and are also crown land. Fortunately the Humber is a massive estuary, so it is still possible to go wildfowling and not see another soul.
