20 bore cartridges

Recommended Posts

I can imagine there are a million and one of this littering the fourm but I can't find any that suit my needs specifically! I'm putting an order in of 1,000 carts from just cartridges. I know at this point some of you are going to instantly hate me and have a rant about supporting local businesses but where I'm based it's difficult and expensive. Anyway I digress, I'm looking to by 1 slab of 4 different types so that I can try them. I'm looking into Eley CT and just carts won CPS20 advive is very welcome

just what is your set criteria my dear? what are your needs?

no rants here, but can i suggest you pony up the reddies, drop good poundage on decent shells. there is no point in buying shells that would get nowhere near your criteria, especially in the less than popular 20gauge.

simple old boy, decent shells cost decent money!

Go for some 24g shells, pro20? Gamebore comp.

Any of those would do.

Most shells are decent these days. As for what shotsize, go for whatever. I've used 24g 9s on sporting and am mighty impressed.

The 20gauge version should be just as good.

I use Gamebore Comp in 20g in 7.5 and find them an excellent cartridge, have used both fibre and plastic wad and providing I point the gun in the right place they break anything. Soft on the shoulder and clean. My local shop is around £210-£220 per thousand I think.
