welshwizard
Is there a readily available powder and I mean easily sourced without paying special delivery that is versatile and good value , my nearest RFD is Sportsman in Newport and their selection is very limited , I live near Abergavenny in S.Wales and don't mind couple hours driving but not hundred miles or more each way . To reload 28 gauge mainly but would be handy if it could also do 20 gauge with variety of used and new hulls Thanks in advance .
Guest cookoff013
what loads you shooting out of either....? what shot weight of either......? the thing is, you could get a powder and reload both, but one would be cheap, the other really expensive. its looking like vectan A0 is more general, probbly suited to your needs....... not a bad powder either. welshwizard
Thanks cookoff will check the retailers on their site for location now failing that give vectan a ring, mostly 65mm max length hulls Edited March 3, 2015 by welshwizard

sitsinhedges
A0 is a very good powder for heavier 20 gauge loads, 27-30gram, and I bet it will do a few good 28 gauge ones too.

I rang C&G to order some A0 powder and they put me off saying it was an old powder with limited loads so ordering from G.Shewell instead now , im told he charges less for delivery too . A0 was changed several years back to the current new A0, some preferred the orignial "old" A0 especially for .410 but the current stuff is certainly not an old powder and is in current production as per nobel sports website. Make sure you know which you are buying from G.Shewell? as the load data is different, what price is the delivery and which courier? what business does he work for? sitsinhedges
I wouldn't buy A0 from C&G anyway due to the prices they are charging for it, FES is a tenner cheaper per KG, and he drops it off on his way thru so no hazmat for me
