Me too my two favoured guns for ratting are my .25 Falcon FN19 carbine and my 9mm rim-fire for running targets . Choice of pellets has come on considerably hence for longer range shots a lighter pellet can be just as effective .

Any others for sale ? Including new Diana's from RFD but within 50-60 miles of Abergavenny ?

Has he thought about getting it repaired , there is a guy in Tredegar repairs all makes ?

No reason other than you cant buy them new and most s/h are top price - more than a Diana new or if they are lower priced are not the best condition , wish I had bought one when they made them but I had a young family back then , do you know of a good one ?

Fiocchi do a number six shot in green and gold box (but I have not tried them ) I have been using Eley grreen box size 8 shot for around ten years now (perhaps more ) and have not had any runners but my shots are at rats around 15 - 20 ft away , If I shoot at night with a lamp or longer ranges I use a Falcon FN12 PCP air rifle in .25 calibre but my running shots are mostly with my 9mm .

Well after a lot os searching and phone calls I tracked one down its not the deluxe with raised rib but a "Topper Classic " from TMorris guns in Leominster collected it yesterday so not had time to try it yet but it is a really well built gun with colour hardened action and nice blueing , light and handy ejector hammer gun . All I want now is a moderator to fit it . Tried to upload photos but getting message - files too big !

Just off the phone to the main Marlin dealer , he said he can get them but didn't know how long and no info - no help really , think I might have to give up unless one comes up s/h .

Mine does too on the .410 and the hammer is conventional - on top not like the Belgian side levers .

Haven't had any luck sourcing this topper deluxe classic , looks a good well made gun to last a lifetime but Marlin dealers don't seem to stock them and would like to have seen and handled one .
