turbo33
Seemingly, there is no cure in sight for this affliction I have. My pathetic attempts to resist the lure of yet another air rifle have failed again! I found on 'tinternet, a second hand but virtually un used Air Ranger Tac, in 177 of course I had testing and zeroing session in the garden. Found out which pellets were the most accurate and incidentally gave the highest power reading. Checked them over the chrono. 11.50 ft/lbs......perfect! So in between calls this morning, I popped into on of the farms. Quick drive round the buildings, past the sheep paddock, and on to the next client having collected these two on the way

Yes its a cracking rifle. Although it looks very similar to the Airwolf, it handles completely differently. My Airwolf, as its FAC, has the slightly longer barrel, and also has a Walnut stock. So I guess, stock marginally heavier and slightly wider in the hand, bit more barrel coupled with the power makes it feel much more suited to FAC. The Ranger is very light and carbine like by comparison and the balance is absolutely spot on. And with a shot count of 260+, its a good grab and go rifle
