Lads some advice please....thinking of selling my landy

2003 defender 90, Epsom green less than 70,000 on the clock with a good service history and receipts for £1000s in parts.

It's tidy no major bodywork nasties and runs and drives great.

What's it worth?

Iv been looking around and the prices vary wildly so I can't really decide what's a fair price.

Can anyone offer a suggestion please.

Thanks Dave

I have been looking at these lately and i would say between 6 and 7k. A mate just bought a 07 reg one with the newer engine for 10.5k if that gives you an idea.

Personally i would rather have one like yours, i presume it's a td 5?

This is what my mate just bought for 10.5k similar milage to yours.

Look on eBay. Td5's with that milage are going for 10k+

I have done that's what's thrown me, rotten 300s going for £5-6000 and much tidier td5s not much more or sometimes much much more?

Seems to be no way of knowing.

Are they actually selling for that or just advertised?

You need to watch the autotrader and epay prices carefully as vehicles often appear to sell at high prices, but are re-advertised shortly afterwards. There are often bids 'taken from the wall' at auction marts, just to get somewhere near the reserved price. You get the 'feel' of auctions when you go to them regularly.
