Scully
Some members on here have some very nice lever action carbines. When I had to hand in my handguns I toyed with the idea of such but bitter resentment wouldn't let me. I wanted paying out in full ( and got it ) despite HO staff insisting I could use my reloading gear for carbine calibre's. Anyhow, I assumed carbines would be used in much the same way as handguns were for practical applications but never hear of it. Does anyone in a club do practical, but with a carbine? They would, in my opinion, be the perfect tool for the job.

Breastman
The UKPSA runs an LBF (long barrelled firearm) league where you basically shoot old pistol courses of fire but with .22lr rifles, .22lr LBPs, pistol calibre LBR's and pistol calibre carbines. You can enter all of the Level 1 comps without being a UKPSA member. A mini-comp from last year here LBF stages start at 2:47; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ujKbasnx_A
