Harry136
Hi, My girlfriend has started shooting clays and the gun doesn't fit right. It requires an adjustable comb with a raise of up to 15 mm. I'm not interested in the Beartooth type products, or the Beretta gel pads (tried one and was still too low) but want it done properly. Can anyone recommend a decent gunsmith in the Leeds/ Thirsk area, I've seen a few on google, but just want an un-biased opinion. If anyone has had this work done before, can you tell me what sort of price I should be looking at? Also for later on, she will be wanting the automatic safety turned into a manual one, any idea on prices? As for the gun, its a Lincoln Premier 20g. I really want this to come out well as at the moment we have a Beretta gel pad on with a few mm of cardboard taped on top and it looks a pig! But she is smashing the clays. Many thanks. Gunman
Before you dash out and spend your money I would advise spending a little time with a good stock fitter .it is surprising what may well be achieved with a few simple alterations .Taking the auto safe range out should only take 5 minutes . welshwarrior
Happy to fit adjustable combs as John says but would rather have some dimensions form a gun fitter as then I know it's not just guess work but your money if you want to know pm me. If I do the stock whilst it's off the action it's no charge to remove the auto safety.
