955i
A friend of mine died last year. His parents were devastated but now their other son is moving into his house. As they are clearing it they have found his gun cabinet, the keys haven't been found yet. They have asked if I will put any shotguns he had on my ticket so they will be legal until sale. What do I need to do with regard to my FLO as I guess as the owner is dead they are illegally in possession?

Danger-Mouse
Can you be said to be in possesion of something you can`t access?
CharlieT
This situation is, sadly, fairly common. The parents can apply for a section 7 permit enabling them to be in lawful possession until they are in a position to dispose of them or your FEO would be able to enter them on your certificate.
