FOXHUNTER1
I was on my ground at 5 am this morning in search of Capreolus..... Sussed the wind and proceeded across the first couple of fields seeing nothing, I then headed down a hedgerow with a field on my right which was vacant until I reached the end and a gap in the hedge where a buck was stood staring at me .... Off he scarpered into the wood adjacent ....my chance for the morning gone I thought.... Ever optimistic I continued down the side of another strip wood which is where I spied a buck with only his neck showing... At 70 yds off sticks I released my round only to see a branch in the wood moving and a deer running off Not my morning I thought but a quick check through my bins revealed movement in the brambles I quickly got over there to find my buck lying there shot in the neck Edited April 24, 2015 by FOXHUNTER1
