zipdog
The bottom firing pin on my Browning 525 needs replacing. Im confident i can replace them myself, but does anyone know where i can buy the replacement pins and spring from? Many thanks
welshwarrior
Replace the main spring at the same time. Any gunsmith or gun shop with a BWM account can get them for you.
panoma1
Try Brownells UK ....forget a dealership getting anything from BWM for you in my experience they can't be a**** and BWM can't even be bothered to respond to an email....... zipdog
Thanks very much for the replies. Panoma1 i will give them a call tomorrow if i get time at work.Ah Welsh warrior, sorry for my ignorance but the 525 has been the first gun, iv taken apart, so not to familiar with the insides, iv taken out the existing firing pins but so far thats been it. I assume to main spring is the top leaver spring? And if so why replace this as it look in fairly good condition? Many thanks Zipdog
welshwarrior
No the main spring is the one that pushes the hammer forwards one on each side. If your really struggling give me a shout I've pins and springs here.

Gunman
Shouldn't a Browning dealer keep them on stock ? I would have though any gunsmith would hold them along with AyA strikers , Beretta spring sets etc. I do .
welshwarrior
Gunsmith yes gunshop I would bet they all know what a striker is let alone hold them in stock.
