big bad lindz
Hi guys, My B&D detail sander has given up the ghost with not a great deal of use. I have been sanding down some garden furniture in order to refresh them. Anyone have suggestions as to what make & model to go for. I would also like any suggestions for the best paint stripper to use, I have been using stripit but I was getting a better finish just by sanding alone and then my sander gave up and I was thinking I was asking to much without striping off the old paint & stain. Cheers, BBL
Paddy Galore!
paint stripper doesn't seem to work as well as it did years ago, did they change it or something? as for detail sanders I can vouch for fein multi master, mine has been going for about 15 years so far which equates to a tenner a year. brett1985
i have a 'parkside' one that I bought from lidl... I bought it as a disposable tool for a large one off job when renovating the house. to be fair, it has a 3 year warranty as with all parkside gear. I have abused it from day one and it just keeps on going. well over 100 hours of work and not a sniff of a problem. cost £15.99 iirc.
