Reloading bench

Recommended Posts

My reloading gear arrived today so I just have to build/buy something to put it all on!!

Has anyone got any ideas about what to put it all on? Is there a good ready made bench that I can buy and put together? Or is it better to build one?

It has to be relatively smart as the Mrs has allowed me to use one of the spare bedrooms as a reloading room, instead of the garage!

Any ideas welcome!!

I had two 3ft high filing cabinets with a peice of worktop bolted two them. The Mrs didn't like it so I got a pine dressing table and clamped the worktop to the dressing table. Just remember the more drawers you have the more stuff you need to fill them. I have a 223 drawer,308 drawer, 38sp/357 mag drawer. Each one holds 200 brass 300 heads dies and shot targets plus a caliber specific reloading book. I have a shelf on the wall for my scales so they are at eye level when sat and the powder thrower and press are bolted to the worktop. The other drawers hold pens labels measuring equipment size lubes pads and various containers for the process. Primers and expanding heads in an ammo safe.
