psycho
After putting on her 20g or 410 Mossberg hushpower went to a shop which had a.410 in lifted it up very light slight forward bias nothing to be worried about and as for persons reporting there length as massive its the same length as a gun with a 32inch barrel it is 2 inches longer than my 30 inch barraled 725 Went out this evening and found it a wonder to shoot very quiet with no defenders required and a good solid pattern out to 30 yards killed a few coke cans easily on testing easy to load but anyone getting one you need a good positive pressure on racking otherwise it can jam once you realise you have no problem. its a very poinable shotgun After iniitial testing and finding the zero point as you loose the target and shoot due to the silencer which really is not that big..even ended by test with a bonus by getting a couple of flyover pigeons straight away one after the other can't wait to get out again I can see me having lots of enjoyable outings with this shotgun. I would not hesitate to recommend this quiet all day carry shotgun

soulboy1957
Love them had 31 pigeons with my 20g O/U on flattened wheat today. Use it more than my 12g Benelli now
Castle
I have the .410 Mossberg Hushpower pump. It is an absolute gem. I use it exclusively for grey squirrels in close country; overgrown woodland where you cannot hope to ambush a squirrel with an air rifle or rimfire but can stroll through and zap them on the branches above head height. Because of the lack of noise I can do this in areas of my old permission where I would not want to fire an unmoderated shotgun. As an added bonus, the lack of ear defence means you can hear their little claws scratching on the tree bark before you round the next corner. I did not like losing sight of the target under the width of the moderator so in the quickest and dirtiest way possible I used JB Weld to attach a length of rail to the top of the receiver and then mounted a micro red dot sight. While the height of this setup means I cannot keep the same cheek weld as I would with a 12g, I can keep both eyes open and simply place the dot on the little grey ****** and squeeze, even on the move. The low .410 recoil lets me get away with the poor mount without smacking my cheek. I have found this to be most effective! Hope you enjoy your Hushpower as much as I have. achosenman
I'm a new fan too. I swapped my Mossy 12g Hushpower for the 410. version. I love it. I found the 12g to be not very quiet and a bit cumbersome TBH. Whereas the 410 is fantastic. Around barns etc, all sorts of vermin are in trouble out to 30yds or so. Magna Sonic's are very quiet and seem ok out to 20 yds or so, but the real surprise was Eley 3" #6. Wow what a fantastic little cartridge. It beats everything else I've tried so far, including the horrendously expensive US stuff. The feral pigeons are now well and truly under control. Even if you rattle the shot off the roof it doesn't do any damage. Atb
Guest cookoff013
Guys homeloads 12subs are awsome and quiet. That's my experience. Good luck with the .410.
psycho
I have tried all of the cartridge's available and the eley 3 are the best and the four long 2.5 are the quieter of the lot also found its best to put the silencer in hand tight and clean it after each outing as it was hell its self to remove after a few hundred rounds so clean the barral after every outing the eley 3 give good pattern and range sub's give 5 yards less and are not much quiter
Jay_Russell
I love my .410 baikal hushpower. Mainly used for rabbits and squirels up the shoot 3-4 times a week. Ive shot around 100 squirels and 50 rabbits with it in the 8 weeks ive owned it. Eley magnum subs ive found are the best.
