kennett
Have got an unusual dilemma! On Sunday do I shoot laid peas with a nice amount of pigeons feeding, or rape stubble that has been cut today, on an always reliably pigeony farm? Tough call, but they are in opposite directions, what do you all reckon? Edited July 23, 2015 by kennett

aga man
Keep watching, a lot can change in a few days! By Sunday there's a good chance the pigeons will have found the rape stubble. For ease of access and picking birds i would go for the rape, and if needed flag off the peas or borrow a gas banger from the farmer and put that there. As alway the recon is key, keep watching if possible.
kennett
The rape is easy, can drive on the headlands and dump my gear, and the farm nearly always produces. The peas are on a new bit of ground I've got access to about 10miles away, a nice few birds on but picking up will be hardwork for the dog. I'll probably have a look Saturday afternoon and decide! Its a nice problem to have!
