ChrisAsh
With more and more ramblers using their right to ramble at day or night, poachers or camping overnight in fields etc, and occasionally people observing nocturnal activities of nature, how do night time shooters insure the area beyond their night vision or lamp is clear of unexpected people. and I assume the same goes for shooting in woods etc
robbiep
The same as in daylight. No clearly visible backstop, no shot.
oxfordfowler
Know your ground and what is going on and where. Don't just turn up in the middle of the night and expect to shoot, do a recce during daylight Positive ID of target Good back stop If in doubt don't shoot
Lloyd90
You don't shoot unless you know you have a safe backstop. You don't shoot unless you are 100% sure and sure again of target ID. Regardless of day or night this should apply. I've had fox in the crosshairs and left em go because I wasn't sure of what was behind. It's all part of the hunt. If in doubt ... DONT!
