la bala
and might the brake shoes be wrong, oh my good god You could have a problem putting 11 inch linings in 10 inch drums
ditchman
when you get the new set of shoes...it usually helps if you file the "leading edge" off the shoes...only a small bit...say..no more than 2mm and taper back say 25mm.....it will stop the brakes snatching...... viking
rite, iv had a word with my mate, (greavsie) as i will refer to him as, he said that someone has obviously at some point put 109 brakes on it at some point, and its not an uncommon thing as it gave them a better stopping ability, so iv just ordered 2 new cylinders for a 109, hopefully problem solved, will this mean i can still put the correct size 88" wheels on it?? ditchman
think they both had the same wheel rims.............. if you are using "original wheel rims" they will be for tubed tyres....so then you will have to get tyres for tubes...you cant mix them....have a word with "greavsie"................
