fallowbuck
This is one of the early Baikals circa early 1960's,very good guns.My father in law still has exactly the same gun and has shot almost everything shootable with it.Still going strong since 1963! Romes
I have personally seen this and it one hell of a gun, really built to last!
neutron619
The only thing that bothers me about buying this immediately is that it's effectively a 13-gauge shotgun! Choked full from .710" to - one assumes - .670" or tighter, that's a hell of a squeeze for a modern wad made to deal with the typical .740" over-bored Brownings and Berettas. Methinks the choke forcing cones will probably accumulate plastic residue over time. Still thinking about it though. Romes
I was trying to resist quoting from the film Snatch where Boris the Blade says: (Deep Russian Accent) "Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it doesn't work you can always hit them with it.!" , sorry Mick, still a really cool gun!
demonwolf444
the fact that its tight bored would not bother me i have seen and shot true 14 bores which are chambered to take a 12 its not unusual. In my cabinet right now i have a gun that chambered 12 bore, bored 13 bore ( 13B ) and choked down to 14 bore ( 14M ) and she's a sweet shooting gun
