crankfrank
An old gun found in the shed its one my dad bought around 16 years ago. Taken the stock off cleand sanded and oiled. What can I do to the metal work? Thanks, Craig.
pin
No idea what it is, for the metalwork you need some differing grades of wire wool down to 000 gauge, some mineral oil and loads of elbow grease. When all the rust is removed, degrease it, dry it and try birchwood casey gun blue.

crankfrank
Thanks for the replys all, Very helpful. I belive it is a relum 422 looking at the link that Graham M posted it matches up. Doubt its any good for rabbiting it makes an awful crack when fired although it seems fairly accurate. Best get some practice with that then whilst I save for a decent rabbiter. Thanks again, Craig. If it is accurate and the power is 10ftlbs+ then why not use it for rabbitting?

It dont half make a crack tho. But I would only want one rabbit at a time for now just for myself to eat so as long as I kill first shot and dont miss and scare them all away lol
