Big Al
After an early rise I set up on the edge of a field of standing barley by about 6 am this morning. I had 3 full body crow decoys which I set up on gate posts and hedge line. The first birds shot were immediately added to the pattern and 2 were put up on floaters. It really picked up after 7 am and by the time I packed up at 9 am I had 42 assorted corvids in the bag, mostly jackdaws. It was only a wee quick "skite" out but a most rewarding way to start the weekend. Edit due to fat fingers. 42 corvids, not 52! Redditch
Still a good mornings bag, and the main thing is, you were out enjoying the countryside

Big Al
Thanks fellas. We don't have as many pigeons here as mainland UK, but we have far too many corvids. As well as crop protection, it is also song bird protection too.
