John Deere 5090m

Anyone have or used a John Deere 5090m tractor. My dad is looking at one to replace his aging tractor. It seems to fit the bill i.e simple and reliable as it's only needed to cut and bale hay and move the bales around with the loader. Only thing we can't see is if it can be fitted with a drawbar. It only ever says it has a pick up hook and we need

to be able to also fit a drawbar for the baler. Most

other tractors allow you to remove the hook and

put a drawbar on so assuming this will be the

same.

Chances are if you lower the pick up hitch take the hook out the draw bar is on the our end of the hook. My dads ford works in that way.

I've not lived with a John Deere but have driven Ford's and zetors which are both good tractors especially the zetor which is a lovely little tractor to drive and maintain

Had a look online and it appears that you remove the hook and replace it with the drawbar which is seperate like the case he has just now and the zetor before that. Just hope it comes with it otherwise it's John Deere prices.
