Wasabi
Has anyone ever had a shotgun cartridge go off due to the heat in the barrel? I ask as myself and 2 friends had a session on his farm yesterday where we shot clays out an auto trap as fast as it would throw them. We loaded for each other. I got through 50 shots in 3 or 4 minutes with my barrels getting too hot to touch. I've seen machine guns do it but has anyone had it happen with a shotgun? Zapp
Put 'assault rifle on fire' into youtube to see the sort of temperatures you need to get anywhere near a cookoff. I've seen gpmg barrels glow at night but have never seen it happen. You'd melt the cartridges and knacker your gun before getting anywhere near it.
