Guest rimotu66
A long shot I know but are there any PW members into classic mopeds, I have just picked up a 1968 P50 which needs a bit of tlc but am struggling to find 2nd hand spares. Same as this one, don't all laugh at once

amateur
Ebay, UK, US, Germany and Japan (used the translation button) seem to have most consumables available and some body parts. Like everything with old bikes, you just keep looking, and, if you are not in a hurry, they will turn up.

amateur
I have tried ebay sites but cant find much really, am sure Honda P50 translates as Honda P50 ? Well, I did a quick search on the four sites and found thousands of entries - though obviously I don't know exactly what parts you are looking for. The Japanese site is a little strange, but, obviously, it brought up the most entries. I would think that the first things that you would need are a numbered parts book and a workshop manual

When I searched Honda P50 on the Jap one it came up with zero.

Paladin
What is behind it? I would go with a Jawa about mid fifties probably a 500cc OHC with that full width hub. No springs under that seat, as they are under the tank. You could probably make something different out of it.

He buys up old nos Honda stocks from all over the world I have and have used them in the past for other Honda parts but it pains me to pay 2015 prices for 1960's parts, and two of the parts I need have to be ordered in so I could be waiting months, might have to go that way though. Guest rimotu66
What are the parts that you need? The main one is rear wheel sprocket as mine has teeth missing, David Silvers want £40 +vat and have to order it in, having said that they do have a NOS fuel tank for £30 which I will buy as mine is very rusty inside. Paladin
Was there 21 teeth on yours? Old part No. 41201044040 superseded by 41201044305 about 12 euro just under a tenner + postage The tank is cheap enough though.
