Oldtoad
Just a bit of a rant really, Sir Peter Scott was a keen fowler and learned a huge amount of nature out with his gun, yet his Wikipedia entry doesn't mention shooting once, it's ridiculous... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Scott Somehow 'conservationists' imagine that being a fowler and a conservationist are mutually exclusive, which of course couldn't be further from the truth. wymberley
Also an artist. At least one corridor of the Sgt's Mess at RAF Newton near Nottingham was lined with his work. Often wonder what happened to them. Edit: PS He was also a champion glider pilot and it's just possible that the pictures and his flying are connected - a 'thank you' perhaps. Perhaps not then. 76 was a bit before I arrived there. Perhaps it meant more to some of us than others!
