  1. I have several spaces remaining on some of my shoots - available immediately. Runs from 1st April to 31 March each year. You are supplied with personal & vehicle passes and can attend at almost any time without making bookings, shoot when you like. Good varied quarry. Hi this year will be my first year wildfowling on the Eden Estuary and i was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips or would be willing to take me out and show me either areas to go or areas to avoid (its hard to gain much from google earth). I do a lot of wildfowling near Inverness for duck but would be keen to try and get under some birds whilst at Uni. Any help would be much appreciated Angus

  4. just saw this morning 2-3000 pinkfeet geese fly low over the house 'bout a 100ft............................ what a sight and what a noise...............loverly to see......happens every day....but not usually that many 3-400 usually.......................

  7. From the week after next, a quantity of fresh cull Greylag geese. They will be as they come rifle shot, suit pie cuts, mincing, legs for the slow cooker, goose fat & stock. I would really prefer not to waste any ; if you would like a few free geese just drop me a pm. Church & charity food bankers welcome, please share. Just a bit of a rant really, Sir Peter Scott was a keen fowler and learned a huge amount of nature out with his gun, yet his Wikipedia entry doesn't mention shooting once, it's ridiculous... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Scott Somehow 'conservationists' imagine that being a fowler and a conservationist are mutually exclusive, which of course couldn't be further from the truth.
  9. Hi all i was just wondering if the pinks have arrived in any great numbers at Happisburgh as i have some marshes over there, we had a great season over there last year and have had some great early duck this season already. Cheers Paul
